I'm so excited to welcome you to Out and About Minnesota Tours! 

I’ve spent 32 years in the travel industry planning, operating, and guiding international tours to destinations all over the world including  Norway, Iceland, Ireland, the Galapagos Islands, and Antarctica. I loved sharing the destinations and experiences with my group  participants, meeting people along the way, and discovering all the interesting things each place had to offer. While I loved to travel the globe, it was  always so wonderful to come home to Minnesota. 

I've lived here all my life, and I'm passionate about everything  Minnesota has to offer. My husband, Dan, and me have explored quite a bit of it, and there is always more to discover! 

I have wondered: 

How many Minnesotans would like to explore their own “backyard”, but don't...or can't?  

I know for some, it's easy – just jump in the car and start to drive, they are open to whatever comes to them. However for others, it may not be so easy…whether its lack of transportation, or they don’t have anyone to travel with…perhaps they prefer to have a planned itinerary and some guidance. 

With this in mind I established Out and About Minnesota Tours, based on the same philosophy of my travel career - to share destinations and experiences with people are interested in personal enrichment, meeting like-minded individuals, learning, and having fun, but OUT and ABOUT in MINNESOTA.

Using my travel, tour planning, and operations expertise, I design unforgettable group experiences which highlight the best Minnesota has to offer. With all the details taken care of, and our amazing staff of tour hosts providing the highest level of attention, you can just relax and enjoy your journey!
